The fans that kept us alive in the 100+ degree heat; the various ways we tried to stay cool (a wash cloth on the abdomen, dumping a water bottle on myself in my bed; the people who would laugh at the Mugua running down the street and join in – especially the barefoot women with babies on their backs; the ginormous sky that was beautiful alllll the time; Zambian peanut butter; hearing the testimonies of the people on our team and being reminded of how good God is even during tough times…….
Today I am Thankful for
Ron & Ali: God loving, couple with two great sons, delightful daughters-in-laws and four wonderful grandchildren, Max, Opal, Christopher & Treyson. Following the Lord wherever He leads. Travel along with us as we visit family, friends, work wherever He lands us all the while trusting Him every step of the way. We enjoy meeting new people and seeing new things along life's journey. Today I am thankful for a fun day with my hubby. First I balanced the checkbook (not so fun but it balanced the first time through :) and then we cleaned the motor home together and then got out the Christmas decorations...the best part!! We have lights up in the living room, on the tree, down the hall and into the bathroom - it is definitely a Christmas light festival in here oh and Snowflake lights in the living room. The tree is up and Scooby Doo has sang his song a few times and the Christmas bear is sitting guard on the edge of the couch.
