Where can I find cheap hand towels that can be custom-embroidered with up to 11 characters?
The 11 characters thing is important; most companies only allow up to 10.
A: How many characters you can embroider is only limited by the size of the text. The towel isnt the problem here, its your service provider. Check with a local design, or logo type store... someone...

Sewing is my passion, always has been and always will be. I hope to share with you some of my sewing creations as well as some hints and tips along the way. My sewing “room” consists of a table, a desk, a sewing machine, an embroidery machine, an overlocker and a coverstitch machine (which is rarely used).
I have also made many traditional quilts as well which now happily adorn the beds in the house.

. I immediately knew that my little envie was no where equal to what she sent. Even if I was sending storebought items, as opposed to something 'free' in the woods. I felt bad that it wasn't a fair swap, so I decided to make it up by sending something extra to compensate for the inequality in our swaps. Not long ago, I was lucky enough to go to a yard sale near my parents' house. The lady was selling really beautiful vintage linens: napkins, pillowcases, dish towels, tablecloths... I selected all the colorful hand embroidered ones. I purchased about 8 different pieces for $10.00! Quite a deal if you ask me! NorthernBorder, stated in her profile, she liked items with African designs. One of the vintage pieces I bought had a Carribean/plantation image. with a sunny sky, fishing boats on the water, and farmers working the feilds. She was kind enough to accept my offer to re-send, and I am very glad to say she
