How many towels does the average person have in their closet?
How many bath towels, hand towels and fingertip towels do you really own? One of each, one for each member of the house? And how many do YOU think you really need?
A: BEFORE I had my baby, we only needed a couple each. NOW, we have about 5 each, because there's no way to keep up witht he laundry.

Does anybody have a cross stitch parrot pattern?
I want to cross stitch fingertip towels for my bathroom with parrots on them. I've found lots of cool patterns for parrots but none for fingertip towels.

So Mary is kneeling next to Suse and I am standing over her...and we are both yelling: "Suse! Suse!"...and after what seemed like forever, but was probably 10 or 12 seconds, Suse's eyes began to flutter open...and we kept yelling to her: "Are you ok? Suse?" But she wasn't answering. Soon Mary was barking orders at me -- thankfully, I must say, because I am tragically useless in a crisis...do I have to remind you about the time Suse cut her fingertip off on a mandolin and I stood there staring at her asking if I should call 911...??? Anyway...I got the wet cloth as Mary turned Suse on her side and covered her with towels...Mary checked Suse's pulse, inspected the bump and then told me to hurry and get some ice. Hurry? Tea for Two
But, having just kind of committed myself to eco dyed fabric...I'm also amidst a few fiber-reactive shibori batches that have been waiting for my attention for months, all fabrics that wanted to be overdyed. I'm definitely not giving that up. In fact, one of the pieces I shiboried yesterday was originally eco dyed! Mixing metaphors, which I rather enjoy.
