Don’t kids ask some unexpected questions. My 5 year old son asked why I had special things for the bathroom but he didn’t. My husband overheard, and added: “I wondered that too. How come Ma has a nice bath caddy with her candle holder and reading rack, and us guys have nothing to play with at all?” Oh dear, was I that bad? Anyway, my husband had a good idea: “Let’s go and find some kids bathroom accessories at the mall. Then we can play when we get back.” How could I argue with that after being made to feel just a little bit selfish?
