A nice warmer, but watch your electric bill!
There's nothing nicer than a warm, dry, towel. And in the summer this heater keeps towels from getting musty so quickly. But, our electric bill went up $40 per month and we didn't know why....until we unplugged the towel warmer. Now we plug it in long enough to dry the towels, or to heat them...
Very Handy to Heat/Dry
I live in Southern California and I really appreciate this unit. My husband and I had an apartment in Paris that had a great towel warmer. It's hard to describe the European warmer, but it had more surface area. My complaint with the few units I've seen here in the United States is that they...
Sturdy and Functional
I've been using the Hyde Park Freestanding Towel Warmer and Drying Rack for about one month. It appears to be very well-built - it is sturdy and does not tip easily. Towels don't get nearly as warm as they would in a clothes dryer (a clothes dryer uses far more energy). However, it dries them...

Amba / Jeeves Amba Towel Warmer- C Straight, Oil Rubbed Bronze 20.5x36 13 Bars CSO20
Amba towel warmers lead the industry. Each one is made from Stainless Steel - not chrome plated. They operate efficiently, using the power of one or two light-bulbs and there's an internal thermostat and an internal safety cutout. Besides keeping your towels and bathrobes toasty warm near your bath or shower, they can be used at pools, saunas, spas, or boats. And they help keep the environment mildew-free.Amba towel warmers are approved by Underwriters Laboratories and come with a 5 year limited warranty. Towel warmers should be installed by a licensed electrician - see the installation instructions. They should be wired to a wall switch, or you can install a timer instead of a switch, so that your towels will be nice and warm and ready for you when you're ready. There are ten Jeeves models, using either straight or curved towel bars. Each is available in four finishes: Polished Stainless Steel, Brushed Stainless Steel, Oil Rubbed Bronze, or White.

Things no one told me about motherhood
And since no one ever told me that babies fart no one told me that the best way to help a baby relieve gas is not just burping but also through tummy massages. In fact, up until recently I thought Julian was colicky...but really he was just a little gassy and bloated--poor thing! Since I started doing belly massages to help him pass gas he doesn't cry nearly as much as he used to (and, in turn, neither do I T_T). Another thing no one told me was baby registry "must-have" suggestions are kind of bogus. As a first time parent I thought I needed bottle warmers and sanitizers, a whole bunch of different baby toys, different seats and swibgs, wipe warmers, and a whole bunch of other crap. I lost sleep over whether or not I had everything I needed on the list. 3.) Stroller (but this may not even be a necessity for some). My mom bought us a Peg Perego skate system stroller. It's probably the best thing we received because it does so many things; it has a bassinet for strolling and sleeping, the...
