I ordered these at first because I needed a good price, but when they arrived they were very good quality mats. I needed several more so I order both. I am very happy with them.
Does not work
I tried and tried but could not get this bath mat to afix to the bottom of the tub. I followed the directions carefully, and even tried a few other things to get it to say. It would barely afix to the tub, and then come off during a bath, makeing it even slippier than if I had nothing. I don't...
Very Dangerous Mat!!!
I also fell using this mat. Although it feels very cushiony, the suction cups DO NOT STICK! I fell pretty hard using this mat when I turned around and hit my head. Luckily my head is hard. But I immediately pulled it out and through it away.

My tile floor is freezing, but my bamboo bath mats are not which is nice. i don't need to step onto a fluffy cloud each morning to get me through the day. plus - they feel nice underfoot.
you're right though, they don't absorb anything. but that's part of the appeal for me as i don't have to worry about washing them each week. i usually dry a lot off in the shower before even stepping out so it works for me. they do keep a lot of water from hitting the floor.
