Scented bath salt recipe..?
Anyone know a recipe for scented bath salts. Is it true it's best to use soap dye and not food coloring?
A: either works OK ... but use epsensalts add a drop or 2 of your favorite perfumed oil and the color...and your ready to go....now run that bath water...,and enjoy......

Recap: Try Something New Tuesday 84
--> Good morning! How are you? I hope your week has been going fabulously so far. Mine certainly has, and yesterday I had one of the most amazing foodie experiences I’ve ever had. I originally planned to put it in this recap, but it was so fantastic and interesting that I’m going to tell you all about it next week in a separate post. Stay tuned! On to my other new things! Here they are: As you guys know, I’m not a big sweets person. I don’t claim to be good at baking (for the most part) and I’d rather eat tons of dinner than save room for dessert. However, I’m a huge sucker for 2 scents: vanilla and butterscotch. Give me a whiff of either and I’m in heaven! Like most Christmas shopping ladies in North America, I found myself in Bath & Body Works recently. As usual, they had shelf upon shelf of delicious scented candles in all sorts of seasonal scents. Gumdrops, oatmeal raisin cookies, winter forests, toasted marshmallows, cinnamon sticks – you name it, they’ve got every scent of the season covered. My grandfather is going through a tough time right now too – he had two mini strokes in the last couple of weeks. Thankfully he is home from the hospital today but once he went in there I immediately sent him an email and regretted not having done so for no reason. I wanted to be able to send it just to say hi, not to wish him well. Thoughts & prayers are with you! Reply I am sorry for you Caitlin, my grandfather was diagnosed with cancer one month ago, and he lives in Eastern Europe, first thing I did was visit him, he means the world to me and he he is such a good person, I pray every day for him and my family, an dI really hope your grandfather will get better, just remember every moment counts and lets bring them happiness and joy since they deserve it so much! But I’m drinking wine out of glasses from one of them, while watering a jade plant in a planter from another one, and polishing a silver bowl from yet another to serve her cranberry sauce in.
