I am on probation and tried some bath salts. will they show in my drug tests?
A: its a cathinone derivative, so i would be VERY surprised if it didn't show up on a drug test.
Bath Salts: A Continued Threat
That gives a history and a plentitude of additional information about this product, which is primarily made in China and India.
Over the past number of years, specifically the last few months, the national media have been reporting the spreading epidemic of people taking fake 'bath salts' sold in head shops, liquor stores and online. The people had to be sedated, treated for heart failure, kidney failure, and have even committed suicide. Users have been tasered to no effect while on this drug, and the effects can last for 3-4 days.
What Pat Moore Foundation would like to point out is that based on our experiences here at the treatment center, as well as from people on the street is that the substances being sold as bath salts that induce drug like behavior are not actually 'bath salts' at all. None of these types of drugs are found at any legitimate bath salts store. In a nutshell, this designer drug is being created, given a name, and then placed in stores where drug paraphernalia is sold.

Just Another Romance Novel
Allison hadn’t had a hot bath in a while so as soon as she walked in from the shop she went directly to the bathroom. The scent of her Lavender Vanilla bath salts quickly began permeating the warm air as steam rose. She walked over to the bathroom closet to gather up her lavender candles just to make it as close to a spa experience as she could get. Allison wanted to dance with anticipation as the steam continued to rise.
“I wonder if I should put on some music? Something a little mellow to relax the pastries right outta me.” She said as she swirled a finger through the water.
Enya, Allison thought decisively. It’ll relax her for sure. Or put her to sleep, and really either would be okay right now.
“Just don’t drown, girl.” Allison told herself absently as she left the bathroom. “Isa would love walking in to that after her family dinner.”
She was playing that scenario in her head as she walked down the hallway back to her bedroom. Isa would walk in harried from having to deal with her family, steam would be swirling around her as she entered the bathroom, and she’d glance down and scream when she saw Allison’s body floating in the lovely lavender-scented water. When did she get so morbid, Allison thought, that’s a definite sign of insanity. Maybe she could blame that on Brad. She was already losing sleep over him might as well blame her craziness on him, too. She grabbed the dock for her iPod off her dresser and a robe from the back of her door.
