What baby products (brands) do I buy? | Baby Pasitos

I am starting to think about registering for my baby shower, but when I went to Babies R Us, I was a little overwhelmed. There are so many brands, I don’t know where to start. I was trying to start simple, with bottles… but I have no idea which one I would prefer, because I’ve never tried any of the products. I tried to find a website online that compared baby products , but I was unsuccessful with my search. Does anyone know of any such site, if not, any advice on what products (brands) to buy? As far as products, this is what I have used with three kids or have found it works the best:

Baby Bath Accessories | Fine Lingerie

If you are searching for some accessories for the bath of your baby, you’ll probably consider to buy some toys so that your little one can play during his or her bathing.

However, have in mind that many baby bath toys have ridges and/or crevasses that could gather soap residue. They should be cleaned once a week at least so that the residue cannot increase.

When did you stop using baby bath soap?

I'm just curious when you changed from baby soap to regular soap and kids shampoo.

My girls, ages 5 and 7 still like loreal kids. Shampoo would probably still inevitably end up in their eyes so it's a good thing. When my son stated puberty around 10 he graduated to the regular stuff.

Haven't gotten there yet. Oldest is 3 1/2 year old.

Have any of you taken you baby a bath with Ivory bar soap?

It's way cheaper than regular baby soap so I was just wondering if anybody has tried it and how it worked out. Thanks before hand!

I did with my first child and it completely dried out his skin...I never used it again. I would suggest just getting a cheaper baby soap. And if it is for a newborn. I just bought one bar of the unscented dove soap and it lasted a while...Newborns
