Pure Bamboo Towels

Soft and silky towels
These towels are a delight. They are so very, very soft. Absorption is great and they are a good weight. We have very thick cotton/bamboo towels that are lovely, but I'm tired of having to dry them for an hour or two. These are perfect.
Bamboo?
I love the way this towel feels, it's so soft!! It seems there is no way it can be made of wood! It is also very very absorbant. The only problem with it is that the tiniest snag and it starts to unrave and get srtingy. I simply cut off the strings with scissors and it's back to good as new.

A: Try going to Ebay and type ONLY LSU towel and see if any of those are what you're looking for. The fewer words you use to describe an item, the more results you'll get.

Since my mother-in-law moved in last month, some much needed reorganizing was brought to my attention. It’s not that she has complained in the least. I just became aware of sloppiness that didn’t matter to me as much when we didn’t have another person living here. For instance, it was no big deal before if I had max pads lying around in the bathroom, but suddenly I felt kind of embarrassed. And if I let towels hanging over the shower curtain to dry it didn’t inconvenience anyone else who wanted to take a shower because there was no one else besides me and Bailey who used that bathroom to take showers. As a result, Bed, Bath, and Beyond has being seeing quite a bit of me lately. Actually the first thing I bought was this bathroom “spacesaver” from Wal-mart for the half bathroom downstairs.  That bathroom had absolutely no cabinet space at all, just the toilet and a pedestal sink. There was one little corner shelf on the wall just big enough to hold two rolls of toilet paper. Once I built this and put it in the bathroom, I started asking myself why I hadn’t done it sooner. The top cabinet was the perfect place to put my little basket of band-aids and ointments that had been cluttering my downstairs bookshelf for years. On the open shelf I put a decorative box from Michael’s to hold my feminine napkins, and the pull-down cabinet holds about five rolls of toilet paper. I also keep a basket on top with hair elastics and a hair brush, so I don’t have to go upstairs when someone’s hair needs a quick fix.

Chloroplast envy
Today the weather is clear, but cold, and I alternate between letting the cold clear air fill my apartment until it is frigid and shutting the doors to crank the small wall heater until it is intolerable, and I feel as though my lungs are drying up, and I cannot breathe. The dog looks out at me from her small dog bed that is shaped like a basket and snuggles her, as though she were a cat. I think that it is, in fact, a bed made for a cat. She is very small, smaller than a cat. When I got a dog I wanted one that was cat-sized so that we would have cat-like snuggle sessions, but in truth cats are meltier, and have far fewer elbows, and dogs are somewhat rigid, and they do not melt to fit the shape of your stomach, when you are laying on your back in the bed, and they are spread lengthwise on top of you. Still, I love her extremely. She lies in her little bed, now, with a bright red plaid flannel spread over her, and her little head hanging out between the blanket and the padded lip of the bed, and her small black eyes closed, and her triangle ears extended. ...

The plaid heart is all embroidery - not an applique. I adjusted the thread colors from the way I usually do the hearts to better suit the color...
