Nice but confusing book
The descriptions in the book were appropriate and accurate but the photos were mostly of baths in California! I was really hoping for more photos of actual Japanese baths in Japan, and was confused by the choice to include many California baths.

Now if you're reading this you're probably familiar with the idea of love hotels, but just in case you're not I'll give a quick run down of what they are. Love hotels are a uniquely Japanese idea for lovers to get away from daily life for brief discreet liaisons. Discretion is of high importance in these establishments.
