most european showers are open. how can i make a cheap curtain with no shower rod available?

this is only for a one week stay.

can't you order a shower rod via internet and have it shipped over if not head to Ikea and see if they can help you i live in germany and i don't have this problem. Also you can talk to a neighbor and see what they do about this
