Prior hooks did not have closure. either the curtain or liner would slide off some of the hooks. These hooks hold both in place. Also, slides a lot easier on the rod. Had similar hooks years ago. Only isuue was that I had to keep cleaning the top of the rod.

These things are awesome and well worth the price. I wish I would have known about these years ago- I just happened to stumble upon them on Amazon. I put these in my boys' bathroom a couple weeks ago and they have not come off the curtain once. It is also super easy easy for my kids to completely...
